We collect information you choose to provide when you use QuillBio, including:
- Account details such as your name, email address, phone number, and sign-in information.
- Career content such as resumes, cover letters, job descriptions, LinkedIn exports, profile details, and documents you create in the builder.
- Interview information such as your answers, transcripts, scheduling details, and assessment results. If you use camera- or microphone-assisted features, we may process audio and visual signals needed to provide those features.
- Transaction details such as your plan, payment status, currency, and provider reference. Payment card or banking details are handled by the payment provider and are not stored by QuillBio.
- Technical and usage information such as your device, browser, IP address, pages visited, feature activity, and diagnostic logs.
How we use information
We use your information to operate and improve QuillBio. This includes:
- Analyzing resumes and profiles, generating feedback, and creating documents you request.
- Running mock interviews, producing reports, and arranging mentor sessions.
- Creating and securing your account, verifying contact details, and providing customer support.
- Processing purchases, managing plan access, and preventing fraud or misuse.
- Monitoring reliability, debugging errors, and understanding how our features perform.
- Complying with legal obligations and enforcing our agreements.
We do not sell your personal information.
AI-assisted processing
QuillBio uses a combination of proprietary evaluation systems and AI-powered features to provide its services.
Resume and profile evaluation, scoring, and assessment are performed using QuillBio's proprietary models and evaluation systems. AI service providers are not responsible for determining these scores or evaluations.
AI may be used on the user experience side to help present results, generate suggestions, provide explanations, create drafts, and power interactive features such as interview assistance. AI-generated outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate and should be reviewed by you.
Submitted content is processed only as needed to provide, secure, and improve the service, in accordance with this policy and our agreements with service providers.
Storage, retention, and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain required business records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods vary by the type of information and why it was collected. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, or object to or restrict certain processing. You can update some account information within QuillBio and can contact us for other requests.
We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Some information may be retained where the law permits or requires it, including for security, fraud prevention, and financial recordkeeping.
Children and international transfers
QuillBio is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Our providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as QuillBio evolves. We will post the revised version here and update the effective date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide additional notice where required.
